Regula Fischer is an author, speaker, and founder of Many Firsts, a platform celebrating transformative power the of first experiences. With a journey spanning corporate leadership, creative expression, and personal growth, she has learned that true fulfilment comes from stepping into the unknown. She believes courage is a practice, growth is a choice, and every first is an opportunity to expand.

Through her storytelling and work, she inspires others to embrace discomfort, trust their path, and recognise that the journey itself is where we find meaning, connection, and the courage to become who we are meant to be.

She thought she knew what it meant to grow—until she realised how passively she had approached it: Growth had happened to her, not through her. Then came the awareness: Growth is not about waiting but about choosing. It’s about choosing discomfort, about choosing courage over comfort. And so, she started practicing the art of stepping forward- again and again- into uncertainty, stepping forward even when fear whispers, stay where it’s safe.

When words tremble before they steady. When doubt prevails before the powerful shift. She once believed leadership was about mastery- about arriving at unshakable confidence and complete wisdom. She came to learn that true leadership is about embracing learning as a gateway to growth. It is not about standing in shelter, but in the storm, even inviting itready for the cleansing wind and fresh perspectives it brings.

She learned to trust her roots, holding her steady. She practiced breathing deeply, feeling the earth beneath her feet, knowing she is anchored, in herself, in this world. She welcomed the storm with curiosity, asking, What can I learn from this? She became a pioneer, not because she had a map, but because she dared to step forward without one.

Over time, she found that choosing discomfort again and again leads to deep fulfilment. Happiness is not in playing safe, holding back, staying silent. There is a pull, a knowing, a soul-deep craving to explore, to lead, to venture beyond. Growth lies not in becoming bigger, but in softening, breathing, and being present. In connecting with inner knowing.

In listening. She embraced the awkwardness of learning in public. The vulnerability of being seen before she felt ready. The exhilaration of taking a stand before she had all the words. She built a community where intentional first steps are encouraged, celebrated, shared. Because community carries us. Courage is ours to take, but the journey is never walked alone.

Leadership is about people- connecting deeply, inspiring through presence and action. She stands now, not because she has conquered fear, but because she has learned to walk alongside it. Not because she seeks to arrive, but because she is grateful for the journey.

And in her becoming, she invites others to step into their own unknowns. Because leadership is not about arriving. It is about stepping forward- again and again. It’s about consciously creating firsts, many firsts- as this is where transformation happens, where we feel alive, where stories are made to inspire others to take their courageous first steps.
