BK Sudesh Didi is a senior spiritual teacher and a prominent member of the Brahma Kumaris, an international spiritual organisation dedicated to personal transformation and world peace. With decades of experience, she has inspired countless individuals through her teachings on meditation, mindfulness, and self-development.

Sudesh Didi is known for her practical approach to spiritual wisdom, focusing on the power of positive thinking, emotional balance, and inner peace. She travels globally, conducting seminars and workshops aimed at empowering people to live harmonious and fulfilling lives. Her guidance has made a profound impact on communities worldwide, promoting mental clarity and spiritual growth.

As a spiritual leader and educator, Sudesh Didi has a unique ability to bridge cultural divides, connecting the East and West. Born in North India in 1942, her lifelong ambition has been to follow a spiritual path and serve humanity. Her leadership and teaching skills were evident from an early age, and by the time she was 16, she was appointed headmistress of an all-girls’ school.

On meeting the Founder of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University, she dedicated her life to the work of the University. She played a key role in advancing the Founder’s vision of empowering women in both spiritual and social development as she grew into the roles of teacher and administrator. With a deep belief in unlocking the inner potential of individuals, she has learned to find her own truth and now encourages others to communicate with confidence, courage, and clarity in an increasingly chaotic world.

Her way of communicating what she has learned through Raja Yoga Meditation, as taught by the Brahma Kumaris, is warm and enthusiastic, giving her experiences through examples of her life. In 1974, Sudesh Didi moved to the UK to help establish the first international branch of the Brahma Kumaris in London, which has since become its International Co-ordinating Centre.

Having travelled in over 100 countries, and at the age of 82, she now lives and serves as the Joint Chief of the University and as the Chief Director of the Academy for a Better World in Mount Abu, India. She is the Advisor to the Shiv Shakti Leadership Approach in India, a worldwide initiative of the Brahma Kumaris to empower women.

As European Director, she also oversees the Brahma Kumaris Centres across Europe. When seconded to the Centre in Germany she consciously learned the language to better relate to the people of the country. She is always open and eager to learn from every human experience and brings this wisdom to her sharing and leadership.

She endears people to her through her humility, her caring nature, her wonderfully descriptive stories of her own lived experiences as well as living with the founding members. Those who encounter her are left with the lasting impression of a deeply committed student of life.

Her presence and warm personality encourage others on their journey towards their higher truth through the authenticity of her own life.
