The London Organisation of Skills Development (LOSD) hosted a remarkable and transformational global event on 9 March 2025 at the prestigious Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. Bringing together more than 150 distinguished delegates, visionaries, educators, entrepreneurs, researchers, and changemakers from over 30 countries, the event served as a vibrant platform for knowledge-sharing, leadership development, collaboration, and empowerment.
Held in celebration of International Women’s Day, the gathering reflected LOSD’s unwavering commitment to promoting education, inclusivity, diversity, and skills development on a global scale. Under the visionary leadership of Prof. Dr. Parin Somani, CEO and Director of LOSD, the event united people from diverse cultural, professional, and social backgrounds with a shared mission of inspiring positive change and empowering communities worldwide.
The occasion was graced by several eminent dignitaries, including Chief Guest Lord Rami Ranger. The inauguration ceremony was led by Councillor Salim Chowdhury, Worshipful Mayor of Harrow, and Councillor Mohammad Amirul Islam, Worshipful Mayor of Enfield. Special recognition was also given to Jesmin Chowdhury, Mayoress of Harrow, and Rokshana Afroze, Mayoress of Enfield, for their valuable contributions to society.
A defining feature of the event was LOSD’s dedication to inclusivity. This engaging segment featured fourteen exceptional speakers delivering concise yet impactful presentations focused on four key themes: Technology and Innovation, Metaphysics and Spirituality, Personal Development and Transformation, and Inclusivity and Disability Awareness.
The Technology and Innovation segment featured inspiring talks from leading experts including AI Futurist Manon Dave, who explored how technology can unlock human creativity. Akash Mehta, CEO and Co-Founder of Fable & Mane, shared insights on using technology to foster harmony between humans and wildlife. Safwan Erooth discussed the future of Agentic Artificial Intelligence, while optometrist Hasnain Mamdani highlighted advancements in eye care and vision health.
The Metaphysics and Spirituality sessions offered thought-provoking perspectives on conscious living, healing, and personal awakening. Speakers including Esther Jones-Alley, Dr. Angela Soong, and Jenny Gordienko encouraged audiences to explore deeper connections between spirituality, wellbeing, and personal growth.
Personal Development and Transformation presentations captivated attendees through powerful stories of resilience, reinvention, and authenticity. Distinguished speakers including Regula Fischer, Ellen Mannaert, Alexis Zen, Kristina Samra, and Anu Chandrasekar inspired participants to overcome limitations, embrace change, and pursue meaningful personal and professional growth.
The Inclusivity and Disability Awareness segment featured impactful contributions from Delasi Zikpi and Seema Flower, who addressed the importance of perception, accessibility, and creating inclusive opportunities for all members of society.
A major milestone of the event was the launch of the LOSD Publishing House book, Inspiring Journey of a Woman. This remarkable publication celebrates the resilience, achievements, and inspiring life stories of 38 extraordinary women from around the world. Each chapter shares unique experiences of overcoming challenges, embracing opportunities, and making meaningful contributions to society.
The book features contributions from internationally recognised leaders, educators, entrepreneurs, authors, therapists, coaches, researchers, healthcare professionals, and advocates. Through their personal journeys, the authors provide inspiration, motivation, and valuable life lessons for readers seeking empowerment and transformation.
Another significant highlight was the unveiling of the prestigious coffee table publication, Global Thought Leaders of the Year 2025. This publication recognises 37 outstanding global leaders whose work has created a lasting impact across sectors including education, governance, healthcare, business, spirituality, social development, and innovation. The book honours visionary individuals whose leadership continues to inspire positive change and societal progress worldwide.
During the event, Prof. Dr. Parin Somani expressed her appreciation for the remarkable contributors and thought leaders featured in both publications.
