Faviola Brugger-Dadis is the founder and CEO of BrainBoostXR, which develops AI-driven VR solutions to support brain health, reduce loneliness, and improve quality of life after brain injury. An Oxford graduate and doctoral candidate, she brings over 15 years of experience working with patients, combining scientific rigor with a human-centered approach. Having lived in nine countries, Faviola has cultivated a global perspective and commitment to solving large-scale challenges.

Her work is shaped by research and personal experience. As a patient with a neurological condition, Faviola understands firsthand the realities of recovery: gaps in care, limited access to resources, and the impact of isolation. This informs her vision for BrainBoostXR’s technology — effective, adaptive, and supportive of daily life.telling.

Central to this is personalisation through AI, using cognitive biomarkers and digital twin approaches to understand trajectories, monitor progress, and enable responsive care. This builds on her work founding NeuroReality, a VR-based cognitive rehabilitation platform acquired by the largest XR telehealth provider in the United States.

Faviola is a multi-award-winning innovator, keynote speaker, and author, and served as the Forbes Technology Council representative for European Women in STEM. Her leadership bridges science, entrepreneurship, and lived experience to restore independence, dignity, and connection.

Faviola contributed as a co-author in the LOSD Publishing House ‘A Book of Happiness’, which was officially launched on 2nd May 2026 at the Saïd Business School. Within this publication, wrote the chapter ‘The Armour’ where she shared a deeply personal reflection on resilience, and human connection.
